1. Program Name

TextAlert — Smart SMS Reminder Service

2. Program Description

TextAlert is a subscription-based SMS reminder service that allows users to create, schedule, and receive text message reminders. Users can set up one-time or recurring reminders using natural language scheduling or structured time pickers through our web dashboard.

3. Service Plans and Pricing

TextAlert offers the following plans:

• Free: $0/month — Up to 2 active reminders
• Plus: $4.99/month — Up to 5 active reminders
• Pro: $9.99/month — Unlimited active reminders

All new accounts start on the Free plan with 2 active reminders. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe and can be canceled at any time.

4. Message Frequency

The number of SMS messages you receive depends on the reminders you create. Message frequency varies based on your configured schedule (e.g., daily, weekly, one-time). You control all message frequency through your dashboard.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging and data rates apply to all SMS messages sent by TextAlert. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

You can stop receiving SMS messages from TextAlert at any time:

• Text STOP to our messaging number to immediately stop all SMS reminders
• Delete individual reminders from your web dashboard
• Delete your account to remove all data and stop all messages

After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

8. User Accounts

To use TextAlert, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TextAlert only for personal reminder purposes. You may not use the service to:

• Send unsolicited messages or spam
• Engage in any illegal activity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SMS delivery depends on third-party carriers and Twilio's messaging infrastructure. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

11. Payment and Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time through the billing page or Stripe customer portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

12. Privacy

Your use of TextAlert is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Limitation of Liability

TextAlert is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed reminders, delayed messages, or service interruptions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or service notification.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
